I loathe all references to fashion outside of Absolutely Fabulous. I didn&#8217;t get 75% of the fashion references on <span style=\"font-style: italic;\">Sex in the City<\/span>. So I&#8217;m predisposed to think little of &#8220;What I Wore.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>But <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2011\/11\/20\/fashion\/muffie-potter-aston-what-i-wore.html\">this latest column<\/a> absolutely blew me away. Subtitled &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2011\/11\/20\/fashion\/muffie-potter-aston-what-i-wore.html\">Outfits That Walk Between 2 Worlds<\/a>,&#8221; it&#8217;s by some 1%er called Muffie Potter Aston. I thought for sure it was a joke just based on that name and title alone. I read the column three times, thinking, &#8220;This is really a parody, like something in <span style=\"font-style: italic;\">The Onion<\/span>, this can&#8217;t possibly be real.&#8221; But <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2011\/11\/20\/fashion\/muffie-potter-aston-what-i-wore.html\">it is real<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>And it makes me physically ill.
