We had an amazing two-week motorcycle camping trip at the end of September. It was our first motorcycle camping trip since 2024, as our 2025 trip had to be cancelled after just a few days because of my knee injury. And it was my first time sleeping in a tent, on the ground, since 2024. I had suggested for this trip that we ride the Lost Coast BDR X.
Did I do it?! Well, yes and no…
My page for the travelogue for this trip is still in-progress – and I may not do one at all. But what I have posted already includes a list of our route in Oregon, California, and Nevada (all of which I highly recommend), all the places we visited (all of which I also highly recommend), all the places we stayed – 10 campsites and two hotels (again, all of which I recommend), and any places we ate that I think are must stops if you are out-and-about.
I also have a link to my photos on Flickr; most have descriptions (not just titles).
I don’t share travel information and photos to brag; I do it to try to inspire others , especially women, to travel and to recommend places for you to visit if you are in the area I was or if you are looking to create your own adventure.
And with that said…
I’m taking a break from personal blogging. Because… well, no one is reading. I’ve checked my stats. So I’m talking to cyber air. Kind of humiliating. So, let’s go quiet for a while while I rethink this whole thing.
